Double Spacers!

Confession: I am a double spacer.

I learned to type on a typewriter (I know how old that makes me sound) and had my knuckles slapped with a ruler to ensure that I always remembered to double space between sentences. Now, I am forever a double spacer…

To quickly remove all double spaces within a text:

Use CTRL + F or CTRL + H  (SHIFT+COMMAND+H on a Mac) to bring up the find and replace fields. Put your cursor in the find field and hit the space bar twice. Next, put the cursor in the replace field and hit the space bar once. Tell your word processor to replace all, and just like magic your double spaces are gone.

Amazing.
